This statement was printed for the ANU School of Archaeology and Anthropology. It expresses profound regret, and references the deep relationships which have informed the statement's need for expression.

I provided the design in response to numerous discussions with the Research School of Humanities & the Arts and the Collections Committee on the context of statement and researching the location where it would be displayed.

There was a need for it to stand for both memory and loss for those who cannot be reunited. And also that it should form a highly prominent display as a reminder of the importance of maintaining the highest ethical standards. The statement now forms part of the school’s permanent collection.
